Here are your Chelsea morning headlines for Monday, 2nd March.
Alonso praised
Marcos Alonso is benefiting from Frank Lampard's decision to switch to a back five in recent games.
That's according to BBC pundit Garth Crooks.
The Spaniard has had a week to remember as he's scored three goals in as many games, but was sent-off against Bayern Munich all whilst impressing the ex-Tottenham star.
"The Chelsea left wing-back scores against Spurs, gets sent off against Bayern Munich and nets another two against Bournemouth - all in a week's work," Crooks said, in his weekly feature .
"[Marcos] Alonso is back to his goalscoring best as Chelsea's three at the back suits the Spain international.
"The Cherries should really count themselves very lucky because Alonso should have had a hat-trick and missed arguably his easiest chance of the game.
"Chelsea are fourth in the table and staring at the trap door in the Champions League. Nevertheless, the Blues are still punching above their weight and that is down to Frank Lampard."
Chelsea's £300m summer transfer spree
Last week it was reported that Lampard was considering a major squad overhaul in the summer transfer window.
The likes of Jorginho, Kepa Arrizabalaga and Ross Barkley were the names mentioned as those likely to be shown the exit door at Stamford Bridge at the end of the season.
Those sales could generate up to £150m which added to Lampard's transfer budget of the same figure would give the Blues £300m to spend in the summer.

Following the arrival of Hakim Ziyech, it's claimed that Lampard wants up to four more signings.
One of which could be a Ligue 1 striker who has been linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur.
The Sun are reporting that Chelsea have turned their attention to Serhou Guirassy as head coach Frank Lampard prepares for a summer rebuild at Stamford Bridge.
Batshuayi asking price
It could be a case of one striker in, and one out at Chelsea this summer.
Michy Batshuayi's contract with the Blues expires at the end of next season and in a bid to avoid losing the Belgian international for free in 2021, the club are prepared to lower their asking price.
The Sun claim that after wanting £40million for the striker in the January window, Stamford Bridge chiefs are ready to slash that asking price to offload him in the summer.
Although it may not be a straightforward deal.
The report also states that talk coming 26-year-old’s camp suggest he will run down his deal in London and look to cash in personally when it expires in 2021.
Mertens' future
In what could be a transfer blow for Chelsea, Napoli chief Aurelio De Laurentiis is reportedly stepping up his bid to convince Dries Mertens to stay.
The 32-year-old was heavily linked with a move to west London in the January transfer window, but ended up staying with the Serie A outfit.
However, he can speak with foreign clubs and sign a pre-contract agreement as he will become a free agent in July as things stands.
But De Laurentiis is keen for Mertens to extend his stay in Naples.
So much so that HLN are reporting that the Napoli chairman met with Mertens at a restaurant and tried to charm the forward with the proposal of a new two-year contract.
The report states that Mertens will consider all of his options amid links to Chelsea and Inter Milan.
De Gea to Chelsea?
Graeme Souness has suggested that Chelsea could have a "nibble" at trying to tempt David de Gea from Manchester United in the summer.
"I'm a big fan of [Manchester United loanee] Dean Henderson who is impressing at Sheffield United," he told Sky Sports.
"I remember he made a mistake against Liverpool earlier in the season and his manager wasn’t kind to him but he appears to have learnt from that. He appears to have a big personality.

"De Gea I would imagine would be one of the best-paid players at United. Could you have him sitting on the bench on whatever he’s earning and not causing problems?
"Would there be takers for him? You look at the situation at Chelsea and they might make a nibble for him.
"It's a big decision for Ole [Gunnar Solskjaer] to make and that’s what he’s paid for. It’s a big, big call."
