The Chelsea games that Jorginho will miss after fifth yellow card of the season

Chelsea midfielder Jorginho is facing suspension after picking up his fifth booking of the season in the Premier League win against Watford at Vicarage Road.

The midfielder has been an important part of Frank Lampard's team this season, playing a part in every league game under the Blues' legend and he emphasised his importance by providing an impressive assist for Tammy Abraham's fifth minute opener against the Hornets.

Christian Pulisic's second half goal doubled Chelsea's lead, but it was an uncomfortable last 10 minutes for Lampard's men as VAR awarded a controversial penalty to their opponents to allow them to half the deficit.

Chelsea were able to hold on in order to take the three points back to Stamford Bridge and move up to third place in the Premier League table.

However, there was one negative that came from the game, as vice captain Jorginho was shown a yellow card in the second half for time wasting over a free kick.

The booking was the Italian's fifth of the season, meaning that he will now have to serve a one match suspension for the Premier League encounter against Crystal Palace next weekend.

Jorginho will still be able to play in the Champions League group game vs Ajax on Tuesday, and will be back in contention to play in the away game against Manchester City after the international break.
