A pub in Kerry is being praised for selling pints of Guinness at what could be the cheapest price in Ireland, according to pleased customers.
Helen's Bar in Kilmackillogue, Co Kerry might just be the home of "the cheapest pint in the country" and patrons have been extremely pleased at what they're paying for a pint of the black stuff.
Taking to social media, one happy customer said: "Pretty sure this is the cheapest pint in the country. Although the young fella behind the bar tells me with some confidence that there is a place in Adrigole selling them for €3.85. I love Kerry! Dublin, get over yourself."
In June, it was reported that the price of a pint went up right across the country when the pubs re-opened for business.
Lager hit the fiver mark in most places, while Guinness went up 10 cents to €4.80 a pint.
The vast majority of publicans upped the price of booze as soon as they were permitted to trade outdoors - with the price increases ranging from 10 to 30 cents per drink depending on the establishment.
A glass of spirits and wine were also increased.
However, since this receipt from Helen's Bar was shared online, plenty of people have praised the publicans for offering a great pint at a better price.
"My favourite pub on Earth", "Helens... is hard to beat, especially on a fine summer's day" and "the best bar in the country" were some of the comments made.
