A flat within the North Corner block, North Street, Bedminster, was purchased for £78,750 on March 15.

The same building also contained the third-cheapest sale for the month, with a purchase price of £93,750.
The Stockwood area of the city was home to the second-cheapest sale, when a semi-detached house on Whittock Road was picked up for £80,000 on March 1.

A couple of weeks later, a terraced property on Prudham Street, in the Greenbank area, was sold for £97,500, making it the fourth-cheapest.
Other areas with houses on the cheap list for March include Southville and Lawrence Weston.

According to the Land Registry, across England and Wales there were 27,332 residential sales in March.
The cheapest two were in Durham, bought for £17,250 and £18,000 respectively.
