The cheap 16p tinfoil hack which can tame frizzy hair in seconds

Those who suffer from frizzy, static hair know the difficulties of keeping your locks smooth, but one cheap kitchen product could solve all your problems.

Static hair occurs when it builds up an electrical charge. Static electricity is created when two unlike objects rub together, transferring electrons from one to the other.

This can leave your hair looking unkempt and frizzy. Luckily, you can get a smooth main in seconds, all by using a small square of tinfoil, which sells for as little as 16p a metre in Tesco.

Even if you're not prone to frizzy hair, this hack is perfect for those bad hair days, when it just doesn't want to behave.

Posted on the TikTok profile @hottop.style, the video shows a step-by-step tutorial on how to get rid of static hair.

Firstly, you must take a small piece of tin-foil and fold it into a square. Next, divide your hair into three or four sections.

Next, take one section and rub the tin-foil over it. The video explains that the aluminum foil de-charges your hair, meaning it removes all the electrons which cause hair to become static.

Once you complete this on your whole head, you should be left with a smooth, sleek hairstyle.

When it comes to hair hacks, TikTok is one of the best resources for styling tips and tutorials.
