The Chasers Road Trip fans say show has 'saved 2021'

Viewers were left in fits of laughter tonight as The Chasers Roadtrip: Trains, Brains and Automobiles aired on ITV.

The show saw chasers Anne Hegerty, Mark Labbett, Shaun Wallace travel to America's Midwest to test their intelligence in a variety of challenges.

The group's first trip saw them visit a primate who could speak via symbols and managed to outwit all three Chasers.

Viewers were also treated to a scene of Shaun enjoying a bubble bath after confessing he was the most "outgoing" Chaser.

The trio then boarded a motor home that would be their home for next few days, but they got off to a shaky start as Mark kept scrapping the curb and struggled to steer the large van around a corner.

And viewers were loving the show, as they got to see The Chasers in a completely different situation.

Andy Bell said: "Thoroughly enjoying Chasers Road Trip with @anne_hegerty @TheShaunWallace @MarkLabbett. I LOVE The Chase and its brilliant to see them in real life!"

Leigh Anne said: "Absolutely loving this show. Anne Shaun & Mark are just brilliant."
