Many viewers tuning into The Chase commented on Bradley Walsh referring to a contestant as "mermaid" and a "queen" .
It comes after Bradley repeatedly called the history student, 20-year-old player Phoebe, from Warwickshire, a "mermaid" and a "queen" - which you can watch in the video above.
During first contestant Lee's cash-builder round, Bradley turned to his fellow teammate Phoebe and said: "You look like a mermaid - you look fantastic with your hair, looks cracking."
Phoebe replied by thanking Bradley while touching her locks.
Bradley then said: "That was very random wasn't it" in regards to his comment. But it didn't stop there as he later went on to call her a 'queen' as he joked about band names on the show.
Paul, The Sinnerman, Sinha even admitted he was "a bit worried" over the comments as he jokingly said to Bradley: "I'm just a bit worried about you Bradley. First you called her a mermaid and then a Queen. Have you been binge watch Hans Christian Andersen?"
"No, I said Queen because it's the name of a band." Bradley replied. "Everyone's doing names of a band and I just. But I actually do think, just look a Phoebe's hair."
Several fans of the show took to Twitter to react to Bradley's comments.

Someone else tweeted: "#thechase Bradley has deffo got the hots for this student"
A sixth commented: "Bradley clearly fancies her! #TheChase"
Another quipped: "Shut up Brad your Mrs is watching #TheChase"
"Unhealthy interest in Phoebe Brad? #TheChase" and "Brad, Phoebe is about to report you to some kind of authority. Lay off her. #TheChase" two more posted.
