Fans of The Chase were stunned after barrister and Chaser Shaun Wallace dropped the ball on a law question.
Host Bradley Walsh and player Annabel were lost for words after The Dark Destroyer answered wrongly to: "In a court of law, what is a 'caveat'?"
Annabel was facing the question with Shaun breathing down her neck, just two correct answers away from catching her.
However, the stress started to show on Shaun's face as soon as the multiple-choice answers were shown on screen.
With a choice of: "A: A suspension, B: An increase in sentence or C: A plea bargain", Shaun started to shake his head.
Annabel quickly chose her selection, with Shaun's answer coming shortly after. She chose "A: A suspension", before admitting to Bradley it was a complete guess: "Not a clue. And he's gonna know this.", admitted Annabel.
Bradley added: "Yeah, of course he is, he's a barrister."
Annabel was stunned when the light turned green, revealing she'd answered the question correctly.
However, Bradley, Annabel and her team mates were stunned into silence when he went with B.
Without saying a word, Bradley just stared at the Chaser.
Shaun then added: "Now, a caveat is Latin for a warning. So I just..."
Bradley then quickly moved the show along, but fans were quick to take to Twitter.
One Tweeted: "You wouldn't want Shaun as your brief for anything, would you? You'd go into court contesting a parking ticket and finish the day doing a twenty stretch."
Another added: "I bet Sean feels like a right dipstick getting that question wrong #thechase"
A third Tweeted: "Shaun the barrister got a legal question wrong??!!!!"
