The Chase's Shaun Wallace left fans stunned yesterday after a fellow Chaser revealed how old he was.
Yesterday the 'Dark Destroyer' celebrated his birthday and treated fans of the popular ITV quiz show to live-streams on his Facebook page and on YouTube.
His fellow Chasers wished him well on social media, but one let slip how hold Shaun is, the Liverpool Echo reports.
'The Governess' Anne Hegerty spilled the beans on Twitter. She wrote: "Happy 60th birthday @TheShaunWallace! The Fans of Bradley Walsh on Facebook wish you a happy birthday too!"
Fans were shocked by the revelation, but a quick look on Wikipedia confirms he was born on June 2, 1960.
One wrote on Twitter: "Happy birthday to him. Still can't believe he's 60? No way!"
Another added: "Can’t believe the Dark Destroyer is 60!"
"Blimey Anne, he looks about 45," a third said.
A fourth tweeted: "Get awayyy! There's no way Shaun's 60!"
Shaun has been on the ITV gameshow since its inception in 2009, making him one of the most recognisable Chasers.
