The Chase viewers raging at Bradley Walsh after controversial end to show

Bradley Walsh has found himself in a spot of bother with fans of The Chase.

Viewers of the popular ITV show took aim at the way he asked questions in the final chase of Tuesday's controversial episode - as Birmingham Live reports.

Nwamaka, Joe and Alicia took on Chaser Jenny Ryan to see if they could take home the cash prize of £59,000.

Nwamaka had astonished viewers when she brought £50,000 back to the team in the head to head round - after getting just £1,000 in the initial cash builder.

The team built 19 steps in the final Chase, but were caught by "The Vixen" with seconds to spare.

And fans took to Twitter to accuse host Bradley Walsh of taking too much time to ask questions for the contestants in the last round - which they felt gave an unfair advantage to Jenny Ryan.

One raged: "How many more questions get squeezed in for the chaser in the final chase than for the team @ITVchase? It's an absolute joke."

A second fumed: "The Chase p****s me off, when they have a lot of money they give the chaser easy question, f**k this."

The Chase continues to air each and every weekday from 5pm with episodes also available to catch up with via the ITV Hub streaming platform and on demand service, with Bradley Walsh presenting the show each Monday to Friday.
