The Chase viewers obsessed with Leeds contestant's dog after she tries to win cash for his rescue

The Chase fans were left stunned by Leeds contestant Sarah after posting a sweet pic with her adopted dog from Thailand and revealed she wanted to win the money to fly him to the UK.

The popular ITV game show which is hosted by Bradley Walsh, welcomed four new contestants to take on the chaser.

Sarah alongside fellow contestants Richard, Lynsey and Paul were testing their wits against Darragh Ennis to see if they could win a cash prize.

Leeds contestant Sarah managed to not get caught by The Chaser and made it through to the final with Lynsey.

By getting through to the next round, the pair increased the prize fund to £11,000.

Sara, who's originally from North Wales but living in Leeds, told host Bradley she had a passion for travelling and recently adopted a puppy in Thailand and went on to explain the expenses of trying to bring her new dog over to the UK.

But unfortunately, Sarah was unable to beat the Chaser Darragh despite putting in her best effort which left viewers wondering if she ever got to bring her new dog home.

Sarah took to Twitter to let everyone know she was indeed reunited with her dog Gary.

Posting to her follower she shared an adorable selfie of the pair smiling for the camera and captioned the post: “I did get Gary back from Thailand #TheChase.”

Viewers couldn’t help but rush to Twitter to share how they felt after the cute pic.

One fan wrote: “Aww he is so cute, this is good news. I’m so pleased.”

Another Twitter: “He must be well chuffed with your performance so far! I love this.”

Third added: “Well Sarah you won the hearts of the nation and you got your dog.”

The Chase airs weekdays on ITV at 5pm.
