The Chase contestant James caused quite a stir on social media after his appearance on the ITV show on Tuesday.

The well-dressed and well-spoken general knowledge wiz captivated viewers at home with his insight into everything from science, to movies and pop culture.

But as he continued to nail the questions that host Bradley Walsh was dishing out, eagle-eyed spectators noticed an “annoying” habit of James’ when he prepared to answer the questions.

Taking to Twitter, vexed viewers flocked in their dozens to mock the gamer’s facial expressions.

“Why is he tilting his head back and casting that grin across his face? James stop it!” questioned one Twitter user.
