The Chase viewers fume the show is a "fix" as celebrities miss out on winning £142,000 for charity

Fans of the ITV1 gameshow The Chase have been left unimpressed and are calling the show a "fix" after three celebrities just missed out on winning £142,000 for charity. Host Bradley Walsh came under fire as Chaser Jenny Ryan just stopped the celebrities from winning the huge sum.

Taking part in the show was singer Cheryl Baker, weather women Laura Tobin, sports presenter Jason Bell and comedian Mark Steel. Although Jason was knocked out before the final round Cheryl, Laura and Mark faced Chaser Jenny in the Final Chase.

Working well the celebrities answered 19 correct questions, however, Laura predicted this wouldn't be enough to stop the Chaser. Despite being able to push back Jenny on some questions ultimately she answered more correct questions in her two minutes meaning instead of £142,000 the celebrities left with just £1000 each for their charity.
