The Chase's Paul Sinha lost TWO STONE in dramatic body transformation

The Chase star Paul Sinha explained how he lost two stone after a lifestyle transformation in a bid to figure out what was wrong with his body.

Paul, 49, has just revealed he's been , following months of tests to try and explain symptoms he was suffering.

The quizmaster, who is known as The Sinnerman on the ITV show fronted by Bradley Walsh, explained in a blog post that he was unexpectedly diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes in 2018.

He went on to take part in ITV's documentary Diabetes: The Fast Fix last year where he took part in experimental medical trial living on a diet of just 800 calories per day for four weeks.

The aim of the show was to see whether it was possible for Paul to 'fast himself better'.

Paul revealed earlier this year he'd lost a stone and since went on to lose more.

He tweeted: "I've lost a stone in weight. If I lose another I have a shout of getting an invite to a gay awards night."

Paul, who has vowed to fight his Parkinson's diagnosis, previously spoke about his weight last year and how he struggled to shed pounds.

He said: "Every year I go on diets, I go on binges, I go on diets, I go on binges. But January 1, it's a constant in my life, [I'm always] 13 stone 11 or 13 stone 12.

"I’m grateful that my body's always behaved itself. When I've misbehaved, the weight's always gone up, when I've behaved well, the weight goes down.

“I know it's up to me, I've got no excuses, I've not got a fast metabolism or slow metabolism or weak bones or anything like that.

"My body responds to the respect that I give it."

In a post simply titled 'Diagnosed', Paul, who's full name is Supriya Kumar Sinha, opened up about being told he has Parkinson's just a couple of weeks ago.

He joked that he would be out of the running to join the line-up for Dancing on Ice.

The comedian who is also a fully trained doctor has performed at the Edinburgh Fringe and has carved out a career in filming factual comedy and is ranked sixth in the UK at quizzing.
