The Chase star Mark Labbett shows off 10 stone weight loss in sharp suit

The Chase star Mark Labbett appeared in high spirits as he slipped into a sharp suit while showing off his recent weight loss.

The 55-year-old television star, most well known for his role as The Beast on the ITV quiz show, was pictured beaming from ear to ear as he modelled the black suit and tie on Sunday.

In the snap, that Mark shared with his 147,000 Twitter followers, the television whiz showed off his slimmed-down figure after shedding an impressive 10 stone.

"The next member of the Double O section?" Mark added alongside the snap.

Mark was swiftly inundated with compliments as fans expressed their surprise at his recent transformation.

"That weight loss!!! Looking dapper big man, keep up the great work," penned one follower.

"Your looking great mark weight loss really showing x do u feel healthier ?" added a second.

A third added: "You look fabulous Mark. Well done on your hard work in losing the pounds."

The 6ft6 star has undergone a dramatic transformation in recent months and completely revamped his diet and exercise habits.

Mark, who tipped the scales at 29 stone when he was his heaviest, recently weighed in at 19 stone.

Speaking to The Sun about his transformation in March, Mark said: "This is the lightest I've been in 25 years. I'm now under 20 stone, and I am really feeling the difference, as well as seeing it.

The television star added: “My knees really feel the difference. I will never be athletic again but I just move so much better for not carrying that extra weight.”

Speaking about his transformation, Mark went on to reveal that he had cut down to two meals a day as well as lessening his sugar intake.

Mark - who was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes in 2016 - also revealed that he faced a wake-up call when he battled Covid-19 last year.

He has since completely revamped his lifestyle and even hinted that he was ready to start dating again after splitting from his wife.
