The Chase spin-off show Beat The Chasers start date leaked by Loose Women - and it starts next month

The Chase's new spin-off show Beat The Chasers' start date has been leaked on Loose Women.

The loose ladies were talking to Anne Hegerty about life as a Chaser, when the date of the new show was revealed to be April 27.

Host Andrea McLean said: "There's a new show called Beat The Chasers, it's starting April 27 on ITV."

Chaser Anne Hegerty quickly interrupted the Loose Women after leaking the start date (ITV)

The 61-year-old Chaser was quick to interrupt, saying: "Woah, woah, woah, you weren't actually supposed to say that.

"I had a request from ITV saying 'please do not reveal the date on which it starts.'"

Andrea then defended the leak, saying: "We did not get that memo!"

On the new series, for the first time ever, all five chasers Anne Hegerty, Mark Labbett, Jenny Ryan, Paul Sinha and Shaun Wallace will compete together as a team.

Anne revealed how the new show will work, saying: "The idea is, it's a spin-off show from The Chase.

"You have one person down the bottom answering questions to get them to a maximum of £5,000.

"Then they get one minute, they can choose to take on two, three, four or five Chasers in a given order."

She added: "If they're going to take on two people, we get far less time than they do, but they get less money."
