Newcastle's Choriza May has earned the backing of The Chase's Vixen after just one episode of Drag Race UK season three.
Spanish born Choriza is one of a whole host of queens who headed into the Werk Room as the hit BBC show returned on Thursday night, much to the delight of viewers who'd been counting down to the new series with great excitement.
Viewers headed to iPlayer in their droves, with many labelling former Drag Idol Newcastle winner Choriza an icon within seconds of her being on screen after she uttered the entrance line: "Don't hate me because I'm beautiful...hate me because I'm an immigrant!"

As fans at home and her fellow contestants were left laughing their heads off, she added: "You know that flamenco girl doll your grandmother bought you when she went to Tenerife? That's me."
Choriza's intro and personality saw her given instant icon status on social media and, one of the many viewers who immediately fell in love with her was Chaser Jenny Ryan, better known to millions of viewers as The Vixen.
Right after watching the first episode, she took to Twitter to post: "1. I love them all. 2. Very sad that there had to be an elimination, it felt too quick. 3. We're all obsessed with @chorizamay, right?"
Hastily replying, one of Jenny's many followers responded: "Yes, yes we are! She’s a bloody icon," and another commented: "100%, she's amazing."
The first runway of Drag Race's new season saw the queens tasked with coming up a look that reflected their home town, with Choriza taking inspiration from NUFC 's nickname of the Magpies to strut down in a striking black and white ensemble as judge Michelle Visage joked: "I bet she knows the off-side rule!"
