The Chase's Paul Sinha roasts contestant after 'terrible' celebrity impressions

The Chase's Paul Sinha roasted a contestant tonight as he attempted to perform a variety of celebrity impressions.

During the latest instalment of the popular ITV quiz show, theatre director Dean from Belfast told host Bradley Walsh he does impressions in his spare time.

The 23-year-old then proceeded to impersonate celebrities such as Morgan Freeman and Kermit the Frog, the Liverpool Echo reports.

Paul 'The Sinnerman' Sinha however was less than impressed.

Bradley Walsh asked contestant Dean if he could hear some of his impressions (ITV)

Paul said: "If your Morgan Freeman was the best you can do you're in trouble."

The Chase viewers also echoed Paul's comment and took to social media to have their say on the impressions.

One viewer wrote on Twitter: "Worst impressions ever lad."

Another added: "Maybe he could spend any winnings on some lessons in doing impressions."

A third said: "Don’t give up the day job Dean."

"Worst attempt at celebrity impersonations EVER," a fourth wrote.

All that said, Dean managed to score a respectable £7,000 in his cash builder and decided to play for the same amount.

Sadly he failed to get past the Chaser and went home with nothing.

The Chase continues tomorrow at 5pm on ITV
