The Chase's Paul Sinha 'really quite ill' with suspected coronavirus, co-star reveals

The Chase star Anne Hegerty has revealed that co-star Paul Sinha has been 'quite ill' with suspected coronavirus.

The Governess, a former I'm A Celebrity contestant, appeared on Wednesday's Good Morning Britain and spoke to hosts Susanna Reid and Piers Morgan about the passing of her and Paul's friend Jon Jacob, who died from coronavirus just over a week ago, saying: "He was 68 but in good health; I'm not sure what happened."

Last week, Paul better known as 'The Sinnerman' himself took to Twitter to hint that he had contacted the virus he tweeted: "Not well. To bed. Four months of this," before adding: "Cough, slight fever, weakness, exhaustion. Utter exhaustion. Good thing I’ve not been wandering round pubs “living my life whatever."

A day later he tweeted: "Although I cant be sure and i cant be tested it seems likely i have Coronavirus .Started social distancing a few days too late. Anyone upsets me; I'll be around to sneeze in your home."

On Monday, Paul gave fans an update of how he was feeling, posting: "For the first time in ten days I feel vaguely alive. I hope it’s not a trick," and Anne told Piers "He's been really quite ill. We're hoping he's over the worst of it now."
