The Chase's Mark 'The Beast' Labbett sheds 10st

The Chase's Mark 'The Beast' Labbett has shed 10st after following a healthier diet plan.

The 56-year-old quiz kings appeared on Loose Women to talk about his weight loss efforts earlier this year

And the even-more slimmed-down quiz king has now been spotted out and about in London, reports The Mirror

Mark was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes in 2016, which prompted his lifestyle change. However, he was at his heaviest in 2003, when he weighed in at around 29st.

During his appearance on Loose Women, Mark said: Mark said: “I am gradually dropping Xs off my size.

"I’ve gone from 5XL to 4XL and it looks like the next time I go shopping I’ll be able to squeeze into XL underpants.

“I’ve lost 10 stone, I was 29 stone when I was a full-time teacher in 2003 and I was in danger of high Blood Pressure.

“I’ve been around 26 stone up until lockdown, and then a few things happened quite nicely and came together and I started losing weight."

Mark has also said how his golden retriever dog is his 'personal trainer' and helped him lose some of the kilos.

He told Dermot O’Leary and Joanna Page on ITV's The Pet Show: "I was walking him around the fields, taking me places… I think he’s helped a lot, simply because I’m doing more activity."
