The Chase's Mark Labbett storms off and punches wall after losing to contestants

The Chase's Mark Labbett, known as "The Beast", let his competitive side get the better of him.

In yesterday's episode, the brainy Chaser got beaten by two contestants on the ITV show.

Host Bradley Walsh welcomed four players to the show, each hoping to win a share of the jackpot prize.

Mark knocked out the first player, but contestant Lynn managed to scoop an offer of £35,000.

The third contestant then got knocked out, but the fourth, Ian, took a lower offer of minus £5,000, to join Lynn in the final chase.

Mark applauded their tactics, but ended up losing to them in the final round.

Ian and Lynn won a whopping £30,000 with just two points between their money and the chaser.

Mark congratulated them, saying: "Well played team, you deserve it."

Bradley informed The Beast exactly what mistakes he made - to which Mark threw up his hands in the air in frustation.

He then stormed off set, punching a wall with his fist.

The baffled contestants laughed nervously as Bradley remarked: "Oops, I think he's' upset."

Realising Mark wasn't returning to the set, he added: "Wow, he is furious.

“For those of you who think it’s all part of the show, it’s not. He actually is furious and has stormed off.”

"Oh wow, Mark storming off haha #TheChase," added another.

A third wrote: "Mark having yet another hissy fit #TheChase."
