The Chase's Mark Labbett praised for moving change during latest episode

Viewers of The Chase were quick to praise Mark Labbett as they spotted a change during the latest episode.

Mark - also known as The Beast - was the chosen Chaser on Thursday night to take on four more quizzing contestants.

Among those taking on the challenge to walk away with some cash was Annah.

And viewers were soon taking to social media to discuss The Beast's reaction to the partially blind contestant.

They thought that in order for the pair to have a level playing field, Mark decided to close his eyes whilst answering his set of questions.

This meant that he wasn't able to read them and had to rely on them being read out by the ITV quiz show's host Bradley Walsh, just like she did.

@wbabarno1980 tweeted: "@MarkLabbett not looking at the questions against Annah. Touch of class #thechase."

Annah was one of the latest contestants to appear on The Chase (ITV)

"Love that @MarkLabbett was keeping his eyes closed for Annah’s questions - making it a level playing field with consummate respect and integrity shown by The Beast. #TheChase," @Rossman76 shared.

@Bambabalino replied: "I missed this, what a respectful thing to do... Maybe The Beast isn't that Beastly."

But it wasn't just The Beast getting all the praise as Annah was quickly applauded for bagging an impressive £7,000 and getting through to the final chase.

@GerverLydia said: "LOVE Annah, she's a bloody genius, hope she wins big #TheChase."

Mark was praised for his gesture (ITV)

"WOW Annah I knew she would be smart excellent answers #thechase," @Momrocks50 tweeted.

@SenorApple2014 added: "How Annah just cruised through that I will never know. Unbelievable. #TheChase."

It was Annah and her fellow contestants Rachel and Dave who took on Mark for the final chase in a bid to go home with a share of £15,000.

And that they did, with each of them winning £5,000 each.
