The Chase's Mark Labbett awkwardly calls out contestant over remarks to co-stars

The Chase's Mark Labbett enjoyed goading a contestant on the ITV show over his remarks to the other players on his team today.

As per usual, each of the team members were asked whether the player should choose to play for the money they'd won in the cashbuilder, go higher or lower.

For nearly all of the other quizzers, sales analyst Michael from Harrogate suggested that they all choose the higher offer.

Mark later pointed this out, suggesting that he hoped that Michael would be taking his own advice.

"Though I would point it out to the rest of the team that Michael's told both of you two to go high," Mark smirked. "I hope he's going to take his own advice!"

Finally it was Michael's turn and he won £4,000 on the cashbuiler.

Grinning, Mark revealed the high offer: "Well if he wants to take his own advice here it is £44,000!"

However, out of the low offer of -$4,000, £4,000 and the high offer, Michael decided to go with the middle offer.

He managed to win a place in the final Chase with the rest of the three players for £20,000, which they managed to win after getting 21 steps.

*The Chase airs weekdays at 5pm on ITV
