The Chase host Bradley Walsh was shocked at what a former Leeds nurse wanted to spend her winnings on when she appeared on the ITV quiz show.
Brainbox Suzanne brought £6,000 to the team jackpot when she appeared on the Tuesday, June 16 edition. She left host Bradley looking a little sheepish when he asked what she’d spend any winnings on - should her team overcome the Chaser.
"If you were to win some money today, what would you do with it?" asked Bradley.
"Oh, I'd definitely want a gastric band," replied Suzanne.
"Why can't you have a normal big band like everybody else?" asked Bradley.
“I want to get thin, I'm sick of being fat, and since I retired I've put loads of weight on,” responded the contestant.
"I don't think you need a gastric band," said Bradley.
"That's what my husband says." joked Suzanne.
Suzanne explained she’d need to raise £5,000 to pay for the band. A lot of fans of the show enjoyed the former nurse’s honesty.

Unfortunately, Suzanne and her team came up short against chaser Shaun Wallace. After losing in the final round, Suzanne, said: “I’ll have to stay fat.”
Bradley “You’re beautiful, Suzanne.”
This was met by a warm response from the contestant.
