The Chase's Bradley Walsh shocked by Anne Hegerty's silly answer

The Chase's Bradley Walsh was shocked by Anne Hegerty's silly answer to a question on tonight's show.

Gill, Gabriel, Alex and Cat were on The Chase hoping to win big against The Governess.

Up first was Gabriel, a retired nursing lecturer, with his eyes on the prize.

He revealed to Bradley that he wanted to take his wife on an Alaskan cruise.

However, it appeared he was suffering from a few nerves in the cash-builder as he only won £2000.

Upon facing The Governess, Gabriel was brave and took the high offer of £20,000.

And it almost looked like he would get away with it as Anne stumbled over one answer, which Bradley said was 'a given'.

Bradley asked: "What first name links one of the Pevensie children in the Narnia books and one of Enid Blyton's 'Secret Seven'.

The answers were either A) Edmund B) Peter or C) Susan.

Both Gabriel and Anne went for the wrong option of Susan, when the correct answer was Peter.

Bradley was completely stunned by literature fan Anne's response.

He said: "That was a given for me, I thought you'd know that."

Anne responded saying she'd never read the series.

Unfortunately for Gabriel, taking the high offer was a mistake as Anne caught up to him and knocked him out of the show.

*Tonight's episode is a repeat.
