The Chase's Bradley Walsh praises Paul Sinha's 'rare achievement' after faultless run

Bradley Walsh announced that Paul 'The Sinnerman' Sinha had accomplished a very rare achievement during Tuesday's episode of The Chase.

The 60-year-old TV show host welcomed Phillip, Gaynor, Anthony and Dani to the gameshow, who were all keen to bag as much money as possible.

After failing to defeat the Sinnerman, Anthony and Dani were sent packing, leaving Phillip and Gaynor to give it their all.

Despite being down two players, the duo managed to secure a combined jackpot of £50,000.

So, it was time for the Final Chase.

The pair put their heads together and successfully managed to score 17 points between them that The Sinnerman would have to match in order to beat them.

Bradley praised his performance (ITV)

But unfortunately for the contestants, the Chaser was on top form as he won the game with 46 seconds to spare.

Talking of how he played, The Sinnerman said: "I don’t judge how I’ve done based on the number of questions I’ve got right. I judge them on the difficulty level of the questions.

"And I thought both of us got pretty difficult sets which is why I was very effusive of my praise for [the team’s score] because I thought you’d done superbly well.

"But unfortunately for you, so did I."

The Chaser congratulated the duo for playing the game "as it should be played" before Bradley jumped in to take away the jackpot from the contestants.

As the quizmaster spoke of how pleased he was with his efforts, Bradley revealed how he hadn't answered one question incorrectly the entire show.

Commenting on The Sinnerman's performance and how not a single pushback was issued, Bradley said: "That’s very unusual folks."
