Bradley Walsh doesn't mind sailing too close to the wind when it comes to winding up the chasers on The Chase.
And the host of the ITV quiz show found himself in hot water again during the latest episode with Anne Hegerty.
On Thursday's show, contestant David was first up to take on the Chaser as fellow players Alison, Xander and Reshma watched in anticipation.
Ahead of finding out which quizzer they'd be facing, Bradley asked David who he'd take on, admitting to wanting to face Paul.
Bradley then listed each Chaser the team of four could possibly face which is all relatively normal on the show until he go to Anne Hegerty and said: "How about The Governess with movie star looks. Have you seen Godzilla?"
He then added: "If it's Anne I'm in big trouble."
And lo and behold, it was The Governess who was tasked with keeping the contestants from taking home thousands of pounds.
Bradley instantly tried to backtrack and ssaid: "Listen I've got to say your highness I - I."
But Anne cut him off, warning: "You're dead."
Viewers, however, love the cheeky digs between them
"Bradley is just like a naughty schoolboy #TheChase," wrote one.
Another said: "Godzilla lol Bradley is cold #TheChase."
