The Chase's Bradley Walsh furiously blasts 'cowardly' contestant in epic rant

The Chase's Bradley Walsh furiously blasted a 'cowardly' contestant tonight in an epic rant.

After an impressive cashbuilder round, Bradley told solicitor Scott to 'pull himself together' after a decision that left the host stunned.

Before going up against 'The Sinnerman' Paul Sinha, Scott respectably managed to score £5,000 in his cash builder, the Liverpool Echo reports.

Impressed by his performance, Paul Sinha offered him £33,000 as a hight offer and a low offer of £1,000.

In a shock decision, Scott went against his team's advice and went for the £1,000 - leaving Bradley absolutely fuming.

Bradley stared at Scott in a stunned silence for a few moments before starting to shout at Scott saying: "What's the matter with you, pull yourself together, you're a much better player than that."

Scott said: "I think it's more important to get back."

Bradley furiously responded: "It's important not to be ridiculed every time you step out of your house, can't believe that."

Viewers were on Bradley's side and took to social media to slam Scott's actions.

One viewer wrote: "Scott look what you have done, you have ruined it. We were all here to have a good time. Ruined it."

Another added: "What a cowardly player. Earns 5k in the cash builder and decides to take the easy way out for 1k."

"Scott. Where is your dignity," a third said.

Unsurprisingly Scott got back to his team with the measly £1,000 and Bradley congratulated him.

But Paul remained unimpressed and predicted that the rest of the team would be much "braver" than Scott.

He said: "They all have something to prove after Scott's act of treachery."

The Chase continues tomorrow at 5pm on ITV
