The Chase's Beast fires scathing put-down in Bradley Walsh's direction

Chaser Mark 'The Beast' Labbett lived up to his reputation with a savage put-down about host Bradley Walsh during Sunday's celebrity special.

TV presenter Suzi Perry, doctor Mark Porter, Generation Game legend Rosemarie Ford and X Factor judge Louis Walsh joined Bradley in the third episode of series 9 of The Chase Celebrity and had to take on The Beast to win big money for charity.

Suzi was first to step up to the plate and earned an impressive £7,000 after facing some rather tough questions about the likes of Sister Act, the Middle Ages, Jane Austen novels and rare breeds of cats.

Then came GP Mark and after asking him to help him with "an irritating little lump called Bradley," The Beast then had some more choice words for the popular host after a question about Tom Cruise films.

The question put to Mark and The Beast was 'What Tom Cruise film featured the line 'I feel the need...the need for speed'" The options were Day of Thunder, Top Gun and Mission Impossible.

Mulling them over, Bradley said: "Got to be Top Gun! I thought Days of Thunder was the funny one with Ben Stiller? Or have I got the wrong film entirely?"

The Beast replied: "Err that's Tropic Thunder," to which Bradley burst out laughing and The Beast quipped: "Is it too late to get Brian Conley?!"

As the camera panned back to Bradley he pulled a face while Mark's team mates could be heard laughing in the background as Mark tried to pull things back on topic by saying "Days of Thunder is a race track one."

While Rosemarie and Louis both had poor individual rounds and ended up being knocked out, Mark and Susie did well on their own, taking on The Beast and winning in £13,000 in the final Chase.
