The Chase star Anne Hegerty was unamused this evening as host Bradley Walsh told her off over a rule break.
Mick, Helen, Jan and Adam were all hoping to win big this evening as they took on The Governess.
And up first was Yorkshire-native Helen, who secured a respectable £5000 in her Cash Builder toward a trip to the West Indies.
"You know the phrase as tough as old boots," Bradley said as the Chaser walked out to meet her opponent, "well meet the old boot in question."
Anne didn't break eye contact with Bradley as she took her seat.
"Slight problem with my description, I didn't write it by the way," Bradley admitted, not realising it was Anne coming through.
"I love you, Anne, you know that."
Bradley eventually read out a question that had him and Helen giggling.
"Who became the Governor of Idaho in 2007?" Bradley asked, the potential answers being A) Butch Otter, B) Sturdy Muskrat, or C) Gritty Beaver.
As Bradley laughed, the klaxon sounded to let them know Anne had given her verdict.
"You're not supposed to do that," Bradley insisted between the laughs, "You have to wait till I've read the last thing!"
"Well you obviously weren't going to," Anne laughed.
"I was!" Bradley said, "but you're not allowed to press."
"But I did," she came back.
"Yeah, but you're not allowed to," Bradley repeated.
It wasn't long before he'd started laughing at the answers again.
Tonight's episode of The Chase was a repeat.
The show's official account confirmed on Monday that there wouldn't be any new episodes airing for a few weeks, instead showing older ones from the vault.
It's not currently known when new episodes will air.
