Anne Hegerty has revealed that ITV threatened to sack her over a tweet she wrote, demanding that she take it down.
The Chase star, who made her way into the nation's hearts after appearing on I'm A Celebrity last year, opened up about "getting into trouble" on Twitter .
Appearing on Lorraine, she opened up about a comment she made to a troll which got her into hot water with ITV execs.
"I have been known to get into trouble for that. I mean I tweeted a tweet last month - it got 25,000 likes before ITV ordered me to take it down and threatened me with suspension!

"I was like, 'Ok, fine!' So I took it down."
She added that sometimes you "don't always know what's appropriate or what people will find appropriate".
Anne added: "One is not trying to upset the source of one's bread and butter."
The Mirror Online has reached out to ITV for comment.


This comes after Anne deleted a tweet in March hitting back at a troll attacking I'm A Celeb co-star Emily Atack.
Actress Emily revealed on Twitter that she would be playing Debbie Harry in the new season of Urban Myths.
The troll commented in a retweet: "Sorry, you're just not pretty enough."
Anne responded: "What a sad c**t you are, Steve."
