The Chase producers flooded with complaints over blind player's questions

The Chase bosses were slammed by viewers on Monday night over the "unfair" questions given to a blind player.

Bradley Walsh was back hosting the hit ITV quiz show where four players compete to beat a Chaser on general knowledge questions to take home their prize money,

Lesley, Phil, Jen and Josh were taking on Chaser The Beast, Mark Labbett in the first episode of the new series on Bank Holiday Monday - reports Birmingham Live.

But when Josh went up against The Beast viewers were left angry by some of the questions he was asked.

One question was about the colour of snooker balls and many fans thought this was unfair.

One wrote: "#theChase can’t believe the blind kid got the question on snooker ball colours wrong. Anyone can SEE its black. What a shocking question to ask someone with no concept of colour."

A second annoyed viewer said: "Seems unfair + wrong that #TheChase just asked a sight-impaired contestant about which colour ball is furthest from the player on a snooker table #Disability #DisabilityTwitter."

A third added: "Hard to believe but #TheChase just asked a blind man a question on the coloured balls of snooker, visual art and bioluminescence. I really hope it’s random selection."

A fourth viewer asked: "@itv did you think colour questions for a Blind contestant acceptable?? #TheChase."

A fifth said: "Very unfair chase for Josh -some awful questions #thechase."

And a sixth added: "What is with those questions for Josh? #thechase."

*The Chase continues on weekdays at 5pm.
