The Chase leaves fans complaining over contestant’s ‘annoying’ habit

A new batch of hopefuls tried their luck on The Chase, but it was one of them in particular that had people complaining on social media afterwards. The four new hopefuls were introduced to viewers during a Tuesday instalment of the popular ITV quiz show.

As player Keith, a timber salesman from Surrey, landed £5k in his head-to-head with Bradley, he went on the face Jenny The Vixen Ryan and take his well-earned prize back to his team. After the questions were asked, players are given an allotted time to answer their question, or they will be given a wrong answer.

While viewers had high hopes for Keith, they were soon distracted by his annoying habit, as he waited till the last possible second before answering, even causing host Bradley Walsh to interfere.

“I need an answer,” Bradley was heard warning Keith at least three times, the Daily Star reports.

“This bloke waiting until the last second on #TheChase is bad for my nerves,” said one player. “Brad needs an answer Klaxon. Keith doesn’t get the hint does he?”

“Keith giving me heart attack omg why does he take so long to answer” #TheChase," said another.

Keith soon lost his nerve and was sent home by Jenny. Another contestant, Nathan, was initially mocked by viewers with fans predicting he will flop against the vixen.

But he shocked viewers when he soared through to his chase against Jenny with £5k and chose the high offer of £55k.

“Good for him! Brave lad,” said one viewer.

“I doubted him but he’s going for the high offer! Well don’t Nathan!” added another.

Player Amy was soon eliminated after bringing only £2k home and failing to answer any questions right during her chase. Viewers blasted her gameplay asking how she even passed the qualifiers to make it on to the show.

With Nathan and Michelle the only players left in the final chase, they fought hard to take home their £60k. But Jenny had other plans and caught them with just a few seconds remaining, sending them home with nothing.
