The Chase has today welcomed a brand new Chaser to the fold, a Irish genius named Darragh Ennis.
Neuroscientist Darragh, already nicknamed "The Menace" will join the other quizzing pros, Jenny ‘The Vixen’ Ryan, Shaun ‘The Dark Destroyer’ Wallace, Mark ‘The Beast’ Labbett, Anne ‘The Governess’ Hegerty and Paul ‘The Sinnerman’ Sinha.
He first appeared on the show in 2017 where he played against Paul, where he performed incredibly.
But viewers were furious during his episode when he won a whopping amount of money - only for other contestants to dramatically decrease the amount in the pot.
Darragh, whose Chaser attire sees him sport a velvet paisley print jacket and bolo tie, said: “I'm so pleased to be the sixth Chaser.
"It's brilliant to be on such an amazing quiz team, and so much fun working with Bradley Walsh.
"It's such an exciting opportunity and I can't wait to take on more contestants!"
Host Bradley Walsh joked: “Another Chaser? ANOTHER CHASER?
"That’s another person cleverer than me on The Chase.
"I must have words with the producers.
"But I can’t wait to educate Darragh on the important things in life; custard creams, cowboy films and real ale.”
In April, Darragh confirmed he was joining the show and tweeted: "I'm really excited to be the 6th chaser on #TheChase.
"I've been working hard on this for a while now and can't wait for my episodes to air.
"Well the ones I win anyway."
He also cleared up any confusion that he might be replacing any of the other chasers, stating that he will be the sixth chaser and no one is leaving.
Fans were delighted as Dannagh played his first round on the show, reminding the players he is the only Chaser to know what it's like to play the game.
One tweeted: "Omg there's a new chaser on #TheChase?! Who's he replaced??"
"Exciting but reallyyyy strange seeing a new Chaser in the chair!" added another.
"I know! I know I’m late and feck me, it’s the newbie!!! About time!! #TheChase " gushed a third.
However, Darragh did not get off to a good start, as the first player beat him.
