The Chase host Bradley Walsh could not believe his eyes during Wednesday's instalment when "the Spice Girls" starred as players on the show.
The team of contestants featured Victoria, Mel, Emma and Gerry - and Bradley had not even noticed the incredible coincidence until chaser Jenny Ryan pointed it out.
Health support worker Victoria had answered all the questions in her cash builder round, and it was time to face the chaser.
Victoria revealed the chaser she would most like to face was Anne 'The Governess' Hegerty, but she was met with Jenny, otherwise known as 'The Vixen'.
Jenny quipped to Bradley: "Well Brad you've done it again, you've brought the Spice Girls back together again."
Astonished, Bradley replied: "I've done it again, what is the matter with me why didn't I notice that, I didn't know, I didn't have a clue!"
Viewers took to Twitter to giggle over the line up, especially as yesterday there was a contestant called Peta-Kay.
One tweeted: "My god Bradley wake up with the deliberate contestant name gathering! XD #TheChase Nice Spice Girls naming selection tonight".
"So last night they had Peter Kay on and tonight they had a Spice Girls reunion #TheChase," added another.
A third chuckled: " @ITVChase whoever picks the contestants ha a great sense of humour. Last week we had kings and queens, this week the spice girls #TheChase ".
"Gerry, Emma and Victoria. Bloody hell, that's three of the Spice Girls! Has anybody noticed? #thechase," wondered a fourth.
