Bradley Walsh was very keen to meet a Chase contestant from Widnes today as he confessed he had never met someone from the town.
Host Bradley spoke to Steven, 43, from Widnes and said: "I don't know anyone from Widnes, you're the first person that I've ever met from Widnes. It's nice to meet you."
Steven replied: "Sporty Spice was from Widnes"
Bradley said: "Was she? Oh well I have met someone from Widnes then."
Steven explained that he had been born in Hong Kong but had moved to the North West when he was three, although he often visited his homeland.
Bradley asked him what it was like and Steven said: "It's busy and compact."
Dad-of-two Steven said he might spend any cash he won on a sports car or on another trip to Hong Kong.
Steven managed to get £2,000 in his cash builder before he took on The Dark Destroyer, Shaun Wallace, who was tonight's Chaser.
Bradley said he was a "better player" than that and the other members of his team agreed, but Steven decided to play for the £2,000 he had earned.

Sadly following a run of difficult questions Steven was knocked out by Shaun and went home with nothing.
Bradley Walsh said: "He was very unlucky there, there's some tricky questions tonight."
