The Chase host Bradley Walsh hits out at bosses over ludicrous question

Bradley Walsh was left absolutely baffled as he hit out at The Chase bosses over a ludicrous question on the show.

The Chase is the most popular quiz show on TV, with viewers tuning in in their millions every night to watch it on ITV, even if the episodes on at the moment are repeats, due to coronavirus putting production on hold.

A week after an episode aired which saw Bradley have to backtrack after telling a contestant they got a question wrong, only to be overruled by show bosses, the popular host was left scratching his head over another question.

Quiz hopeful Liam was taking on the formidable force of Jenny 'The Vixen' Ryan when a question popped up asking which hobby was said to be a tradition among hippies.

The options were knitting their own kaftan, growing their own patchouli or knitting their own yoghurt, with the latter the correct answer.

Neither Bradley or Liam could quite believe what they were hearing as Jenny explained:""It's one of those disparaging phrases that are used to put down hippies who like to do everything themselves.

"Grow things, knit things, and eat natural things like yoghurt."

Having none of it, Bradley then ranted: "Oh, that's not really a question then is it, which of these is a traditional activity when it doesn't exist, it's just meant to take the mickey."

Viewers were quick, with one less than impressed Twitter user posting: "It’s knitting your own muesli - not yoghurt. Get your disparaging comments right!."
