The Chase fans spotted a contestant's stunned face after a player opted for the minus offer of £3,000.
Matt, Fergus, Emma and Dot all had to beat Mark Labbett if they wanted to go home with a healthy prize pot.
The first two contestants, Matt and Fergus, proved their quizzing abilities, bringing in £8,000 and £5,000 respectively.
And it appeared Emma, 24, would do the same as she secured £5,000 in the cash builder.

Her fellow contestants urged her to either take the £5,000 or gamble on the high offer of £37,000.
However the studio was left in shock when Emma opted for The Beast's minus £3,000 offer.
Emma said: "I'm a strategic thinker, I'm going to take the minus offer."
After announcing her intentions, viewers picked up Dot's face in the background.
Host Bradley Walsh commented: "Dot's shocked."
Fans at home noticed Dot's reaction, as one tweeted: "If Mark doesn't knock Emma out, Dot will!"
Jemima added: "Dot is FEWMIN’ that Emma took the lower offer."
Seher said: "Dot's face."
James tweeted: "Dot’s not impressed."
Geoff added: "Dot's face said it all."
Mark said: "Dot is absolutely spewing and rightly so."
And another wrote: "Dot's face is the whole of Twitter right now."
As it panned out, Emma breezed through her head to head round.
Bradley said: "Emma, Emma, Emma - it's a frosty reception back at the team."
Dot added: "I'd never take the minus."
