The Chase viewers were left utterly flabbergasted this evening over a pair of contestants who looked eerily similar to Rod Stewart and Marilyn Monroe.
Gerry, from Sheffield, and Suzie appeared on the ITV quiz show in a bid to win some money and beat The Chaser.
But Gerry's looks instantly distracted viewers, as well as host Bradley Walsh, with his familiar shaggy haircut, facial features and open-necked shirt.
Appearing at the table, the Dark Destroyer smirked as he quipped: "Hello Rod!"
But Gerry wasn't the only recognisable face as Suzie drew attention with her wavy, shoulder-length platinum hair and crimson red lipstick.
Excited fans flocked to Twitter to comment, with one tweeting: "uh. i think rod stewart and marilyn monroe are on the chase. #TheChase."
While another questioned: "Gerry on #TheChase isn’t a Rod Stewart tribute act, by any chance?"
A third joked; "Haha, a Poundland rod stewart up first and seat 4 a Marilyn Monroe lookalike damn what a mixed bunch #TheChase."
"It’s lookalikey day on #TheChase!" another exclaimed.
One asked: "Why are Rod Stuart and Marilyn Monroe on #TheChase."
A fan wrote: "Never thought Rod Stewart would need anymore money being honest with you. #TheChase."
