The Chase fans were quick to slam Bradley Walsh as he made a claim about a player's performance.
Host Bradley chatted to first player up Micheal before he went up against The Sinnerman, Paul Sinha, who was tonight's Chaser.
Client relationship manager Micheal, 43, said outside of work he enjoyed rollerblading which was a New Year's resolution which stuck.
If he won some cash Michael said he wanted to help pay for his niece's wedding.
Michael managed to score £4,000 in his cash builder and Bradley was clearly very impressed.
Bradley said: "Michael that was a sensational performance."
But viewers at home weren't so sure about his assessment, arguing that £4,000 was a distinctly average cash builder.
@jjessie555 said: "How was that sensational he got £4k? When people usually get that Bradley says you could have done better."
Calum Livingstone said: "A sensational performance was Bradley taking the p*ss? He passed more than he got right."
vilcisco said: "£4k a "sensational performance"? The standards really are plummeting on #TheChase."
LMO said: "How was that sensational?? Loool."
Lois Prior said: "£4K is never sensational."
And Paul agreed with viewers telling Micheal: "I don't mean to be mean, but from that cash builder it seems like you quiz much like I rollerblade and Shaun sings."
Micheal opted to play for the £4,000 he had earned, but sadly left with nothing after failing to get past The Chaser.
Bradley told him: "It's great to meet you, keep blading and I'll see you on the streets of London."
