The Chase fans infuriated by player's annoying habit that even Bradley Walsh points out

The Chase viewers could not hold back their fury at contestant Ian's "annoying habit" on Wednesday's show.

Ian, who used to be a drummer in a punk band, was answering questions shot at him by host Bradley Walsh.

But he was incredibly slow to answer, particularly compared to his team mates, and viewers could not bear to watch.

The seconds ticked on as Ian considered each question thoughtfully before asking, with his teammates looking visibly stressed behind him.

Bradley Walsh called Ian a "deliberate player" (ITV)

Bradley even very diplomatically referred to him as a "very deliberate player".

One fan tweeted: "He had a slow time wasting cash builder and had poor knowledge.. Laters. #thechase ".

"In other words Ian - ‘you’re too f**king slow!’..... #TheChase " added another.

Ian answered unbearably slowly (ITV)

"Deliberate player = slow b*****d #thechase " joked a third.

Viewers were also distracted by Bradley's cruel impression of a James Bond character, aimed at Paul "The Sinnerman" Sinha, who is 5ft8.

"Will it be the Sinnerman?" he asked, when the players were about to find out who they were playing.

"You can see him on The Chase, on comedy shows, and at the start of re-runs of Fantasy Island shouting, 'The plane, boss, the plane'."

This was a reference to James Bond character Tattoo, who was played by pint-sized Hervé Villechaize.

When the players found out they would indeed be playing against Paul, Bradley dropped to his knees and impersonated the character again.

"Boss the plane, the plane boss, the plane!"

Paul looked unimpressed by Bradley's mean joke, though the other players fell about laughing at the cheeky dig.
