The Chase fans hit out at Bradley Walsh for odd habit that 'drives them up the wall'

The Chase returned to ITV with an all-new episode as Bradley Walsh pitted four new players against Jenny 'The Vixen' Ryan.

The 60-year-old ITV show host welcomed Charlotte, Ben, Keith and Melanie to the game show, who were all keen to bag as much money as possible.

After securing £1,000 in the cash builder challenge, make-up artist Charlotte was first up to face The Vixen, reports Birmingham Live.

However, her risk to gamble for a greater amount of money didn't go in her favour as she walked home empty-handed.

But it was only after restaurant owner Ben guessed the answer to a question correctly that Bradley was prompted to say "It has gotta be," several times.

He said it numerous times throughout the show (The Chase's Bradley Walsh)

Fans of the show took to Twitter to comment on the phrase after the show aired at 5pm.

One said: " #TheChase I wish #BradleyWalsh would stop saying ‘gotta be’ every time the contestants answer a question."

Another said: "Bradley losing his s***", 'gotta be' and all day long klaxons."

A third added: "Does anyone else want to throw a slipper at Bradley Walsh when he forces himself laughing and throws himself about the place like a total plonker?

"'Got to be!' It drives me up the wall!"

"How many times per show does Bradley Walsh say 'got to be' and 'absolutely' per show? #TheChase," wrote a fourth.

Whilst another exclaimed: "F**k me, a triple 'gotta be' klaxon!"
