The Chase fans were left cringing as Mark Labbett spoke about his "lovely wife" during today's show.
Mark, 53, announced he'd split with his wife Katie, 26, this week, making his comments on tonight's show particularly awkward.
Speaking to contestant and professional poker player Leon Mark said his "lovely wife" had bought him a book on fashion tips, adding as an aside "thank you darling."
And fans were quick to notice the badly timed comment.
One said: "Bit awkward the Beast mentioning his wife when they've just split because she cheated on him."

Another said: "Bet he doesn’t still call her his lovely wife."
And a third said: "His wife bought him a book about fashion tips? No wonder they split up."
Mark and Katie got married in 2014 and have a young son together.
But this weekend it was revealed she'd been dating another man for almost a year.
The pair split and are now selling their luxury home in Hereford.
