There was some confusion on The Chase today as contestants stood closely to Bradley Walsh and sat next to each other.
Episodes of The Chase in 2021 have shown players placed one metre apart on a long desk.
Host Bradley Walsh's podium was also placed further away from the contestants during the cash builder.

The contestants are not allowed to hug one another but instead can give 'air high-fives'.
But tonight, players Paula, Louisa, Ian and Lee, were all sat by each other and during the head-to-head, they stood next to Bradley.
This cause some confusion amongst fans on Twitter.
One said: "They are actually uncomfortably close."
Another wrote: "I don’t like it, they are all so close."
And a third said: "When was this episode filmed?"
However, there were some superfans on hand who explained tonight's Chase episode was a repeat.
Greg tweeted: "They look like they are sitting hilariously too close together now we are used to the social distancing stuff."
A second said: "Funny how horribly close that seating looks now. I think I prefer two metres."
Ethan wrote: "I’ve got used to social distancing so much that these old episodes look like they’re stood way too close to each other."
A fourth said: "If people are sitting in close proximity to each other and Bradley is talking about five Chasers instead of six, you are watching a repeat episode of #TheChase."
And MrBlueSky tweeted: "To people watching #TheChase today. Do not have a meltdown, it's obviously an old repeat."
