Fans of ITV's flagship quiz show The Chase were left confused this evening when host Bradley Walsh introduced their 'new chaser'.
After contestant Pete, 65, from Brighton had banked an impressive £8,000 in his cash builder, he was running through the possible opponents who would take on today's team.
He then said: "Or will it be our new chaser, Jenny 'The Vixen' Ryan."
Fans of the show will know she has been a staple of the award-winning programme since 2015, so is definitely not new.

Confused viewers took to Twitter. One said: "'The new chaser, Jenny'.. Is this an old episode?"
Another added: "New chaser? How old is this one ?"
The episode shown on ITV1 this evening (Monday, May 20) was actually episode 61 from series nine, which was filmed between June 2015 and September 2016.
Jenny Ryan joined the show as a chaser in 2015 after Anne Hegerty recommended her to TV bosses.
But that wasn't her first time working on the show, as back in 2009 the 37-year-old wrote questions for the pilot episode, helping to secure its place in TV history.

The Vixen has also been on University Challenge for the University of Leeds, The Weakest Link, Only Connect, Fifteen to One and Mastermind with her specialist subject being Buffy The Vampire Slayer.
