The Chase viewers were in for a treat as they tuned in on Wednesday teatime.
Fans of the 5pm quiz show couldn't help laughing as they noticed the names of the contestants were similar to the lead characters in a much-loved 1980s sitcom.
They would be forgiven for thinking they'd switched on an Only Fools and Horses special as they clocked that the contestants were called Delon, Rachel, Rodney and Cassie.
One viewer laughed on Twitter: "Special episode of #TheChase today, the cast of Only Fools and Horses have come for a go!
"Ft. Del boy, Rodders, Casandra and Rachel aka Raquel #OnlyFoolsAndHorses."
"Today, it’s the cast of Only Fools and Horses!" exclaimed another viewer.
"Only Fools and Horses special," pointed out another.
The show was praised for such a 'genius' move.
"The person who decided to put this Only Fools and Horses team together," enthused another fan.
"The contestants' picker surely Fools and Horses fan," said another.
"The casting director for #TheChase is a genius.
"I hope they do a #GoldenGirls or #Supernatural themed show one day," said another.
Only Fools and Horses, which ran from 2001 until 2003, starred David Jason as ambitious market trader Derek 'Del Boy' Trotter and Nicholas Lyndhurst as his younger brother Rodney.
Tessa Peake-Jones played Del's long-suffering partner Raquel Turner and Gwyneth Strong played Rodney's wife Cassandra.
And the jokes and memes flooded in thick and fast from The Chase viewers.
"Where’s Trigger??" asked one about Del's road sweeper pal.
"This time next year, they’ll be millionaires..." quipped another.
"Up next is Dave #Rodney," said another referencing Trigger's name for Rodney.
"Hahahah am enjoying this Only Fools and Horses crack here," said another fan.
