The Chase fans have been calling for a contestant to land her own role on the ITV quiz show.
Brainbox Ali was branded the 'best player ever' after daring to take on legendary quizzer Mark "The Beast" Labbett.
And unlike so many before her, she outran the Chaser.
Now viewers are even calling for her to become the seventh quiz master in the show's roster.
It wouldn't be an unprecedented move - The Chase's most recent recruit, Darragh "The Menace" Ennis, was a contestant who impressed enough to join the Chasers' ranks.
Ali had lost all three teammates as Mark caught them with ease, but to the surprise of Bradley Walsh, she racked up a huge 19 during the Final Chase.
Mark had stumbled on a question about poetry, giving Ali her chance to outstrip him.
In the end she raked in £5,000 in winnings - and the admiration of viewers.
"Best I've seen in the chase, well done ali," one tweeted.
A second remarked: "just watched ali win £5k ON HER OWN what a legend!"
"Amazing final chase there!" a third chimed in, "Ali should be a permanent chaser!"
"Ali's a genius!" another gushed, "Get her on as a permanent chaser!"
"You put me under pressure," Mark admitted once he was beat, "Well done."
The episode - which was a repeat from a previous series - even saw Bradley give Ali a congratulatory hug.
Mark's one of six Chasers, and is joined by Darragh, Anne Hegerty, Shaun Wallace, Paul Sinha and Jenny Ryan.
It's not known when new episodes will air, but it's thought the stars are currently filming a brand new series.
