The Chase contestant sends viewers into meltdown as he shares alpaca job role

The Chase viewers were left stunned when a contestant on the ITV show shared what they did for a living.

Bradley Walsh welcomed Mohsen, Sandra, Selina and Jacob to the gameshow, who were all keen to bag as much money as possible.

As usual, at the start of the episode, the players introduced themselves, sharing their names and what their job is, reports Daily Star.

Singer-songwriter Mohsen went first, followed by retired secretary Sandra, next up was garden designer Selina and last but not least was Jacob who revealed that he's an alpaca breeder.

Fans couldn't believe it when the 21-year-old came clean about his job role, with many rushing to Twitter to comment on it.

One person said: "Did he say alpaca breeder or am I having a stroke?"

Another wrote: "Did that young lad say he's an alpaca breeder?? That's awesome."

"An alpaca breeder.......there’s a first.....," commented a third.

Whilst a fourth exclaimed: "Alpaca breeder!! Unusual job klaxon!!!!!!!!!"

The team was up against Darragh Ennis, also known as The Menace, in this episode.

Mohsen, Sandra, Selina and Jacob all took it in turns to take on the cash builder before they went head-to-head with The Menace.

Alpaca breeder Jacob was the last person to take on the chaser, and Bradley was keen to find out a little bit more about what his job entailed.

The contestant explained: "I have an alpaca farm with 20 alpacas and seven of them are pregnant for this year.

"We won the most successful small breeder at the biggest show in Europe."

Jacob secured £3,000 in his cash builder, but unfortunately, even though he took the lower offer of £1,000 on the board, he was caught by The Menace and was sent home empty-handed.
