The Chase contestant's short answers to Bradley Walsh leave viewers in stitches

A contestant on The Chase gave Bradley Walsh a run for his money with her short and simple answers.

Mohsen, Sandra, Selina and Jacob hoped that together they could beat the Chaser and leave with thousands of pounds.

First contestant Mohsen set the team up well by contributing £6,000 to the prize pot.

However, the next player would prove to be trouble for host Bradley.

Speaking to Sanda, 75, from Surrey, Brad asked: "What do you do in Surrey?"

Sandra said: "I'm retired, I'm 75."

Changing the subject slightly, Brad questioned: "What do you do now you're retired."

Sandra said: "Absolutely nothing. I watch The Chase, I read books, I fantasise, I have a nice time.

"I'm not fantasising about you, Bradley."

Brad then asked: "If you were to win some money today Sandra what would you do with it?"

Sandra said: "Count it."

After securing £5,000 for the team, Sandra faced Darragh Ennis in the head-to-head.

The Menace said: "It's my job to make sure counting your money takes no time at all."

But Sandra was quick with her comeback, saying: "Feel free to have a lie down halfway through."

Unfortunately, a few tricky questions were thrown Sandra's way and she left the show with nothing.

But her manner on the show had viewers in stitches, with Lisa Calverley tweeting: "Sandra was so funny on #TheChase and such a shame she didn't get through to the final chase."

Ryan tweeted: "Sandra was such a hoot! If the team wins, they should give her some 'counting' money anyway."
