The Chase contestant horrified after fellow player betrays her

A Chase contestant was left fuming with her fellow player tonight, as he took the low offer, while arguing for her to take the high offer.

IT Engineer Liam was keen to take girlfriend Vicky to Las Vegas, but only scored £2,000 in his cash builder.

As he went up against The Chaser J enny Ryan his team encouraged him to take the high offer of £22,000.

Liam had told fellow contestant Judy to take the high offer when it was her turn against The Chaser, which she declined to do.

But Liam shocked his team, Bradley and The Chaser when he went for the low offer of £200.

Bradley turned round and said: "Look at Judy, she's not happy with that."

And The Vixen was also scathing saying: "Thought you were going to be braver than that - especially with your advice to Judy."

Liam struggled in his battle with The Chaser, but eventually got back to his team and earned a handshake from Bradley.

When he returned Judy was all smiles and hugged him, for adding to the total.

But fans on social media remained unimpressed.

One said: "I just love the out pouring of hate when a contestant takes the low offer It's more entertaining than the programme itself."

Another said: "Liam should forfeit his stake of any winnings for being an absolute melt."

A third commented: "Fist pumping as if he didn’t nearly get caught after taking the low offer."

And a fourth added: "You go on a quiz show and play for £200 hoping to sponge of the rest what a pillock."
